Professional Belly Dancer

about me
Dance and me
I started belly dancing in February 2007 and have been following it ever since. In 2013 I landed in the Middle East for the first time, on a trip with other dancers, touring dance classes in Egypt, a country that today, in 2023, I consider my home. In 2014 I graduated in Architecture and Urban Planning (my other profession that I love as much as dancing). In 2015, already working as a dance teacher at the time, I returned to Egypt to study for 4 months but it was only in November 2016, when I left for Lebanon, that I started working as a dancer abroad. Since then, among several comings and goings to Brazil over the years, I have worked in Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and finally, from December 2021 onwards, Egypt.
During my career, I have always kept dance in my life in some way, even in very difficult periods, such as my love for architecture, always maintaining balance to ensure that both my architect version and my dancer version would be happy within me. And at the moment, it's working very well, thank God.

Experience
The beginning of everything...
In November 2016, I left for Lebanon, where I would take classes with a teacher established by the agency, before going to Abu Dhabi - UAE to fulfill my first real contract. At the time, I was working with a Brazilian/Lebanese businessman and it was through him that I was able to experience Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates and Oman, until returning to Brazil in March 2017.

Abu Dhabi 2017/2018
In December 2017, I embarked again, now heading directly to Abu Dhabi - UAE, and that's when I joined the Desert + Hotel work combo, doing 2 shows in the desert every day (yes, from Sunday to Sunday) and another 3 shows at night at the Hotel, from Monday to Friday (sometimes on Saturdays too). It was a routine of a lot of work and a lot of shows, until the end of 2018.

Egypt from 2021 until then...
And it was in December 2021 that I moved to where I call home: Hurghada - Egypt.
Since 2013, when I set foot in Pharaonic lands for the first time as a tourist, I knew there was a lot to experience in the country, far beyond vacations and festivals. I came back in 2015, I spent 4 months living in Cairo studying, but it still wasn't enough, you know?! It was only when I arrived in Hurghada that this feeling eased, it seems that I finally found a place that could offer me a balance between personal life and careers (yes, careers in the plural, as Hurghada also offers space for Manuela architect to be happy). And so, as long as all my versions are in balance, Egypt continues to be my little corner of the world, knowing that the future belongs to God and I trust.

Tá, mas, e agora?
Ao longo de 2024 eu fui sentindo que vinha vivendo tudo que sentia falta ter vivido enquanto bailarina em tempo integral. Enquanto a bailarina estava satisfeita, a arquiteta estava faminta! O futuro a Deus pertence.
